A Gwinnett County jury awarded $16.8 million against Ford Motor Co. on Thursday afternoon for the family of Melvin and Voncile Hill, a South Georgia farm couple killed when the roof of their pickup truck flattened in a rollover crash.
Plus, the jury said yes to punitive damages. A second phase of the trial to determine that amount is set for Friday.
