In a decision that further clarified the rules on admission of expert testimony in medical-malpractice cases, the Georgia Court of Appeals reinstated a lawsuit in which two parents claimed Insight Psychiatric Services neglected to identify lupus in their daughter.
The court ruled in its May 19 opinion to reverse a trial judge’s grant of Insight’s motion to dismiss.
