PURPOSE: The District Instructional Review Committees (DIMRC) will convene to present their recommendation for the adoption of instructional materials for the following courses:

Advanced Placement (Grades 9-12)
• AP United States History • AP Human Geography • AP World History • AP United States Government & Politics • AP Macro Economics K-12 Social Studies:

Elementary Social Studies (Grades K-5)
• Elementary K-3 • 4th Grade Elementary Florida History • 5th Grade Elementary US History Secondary Social Studies (Grades 6-12)
• 6th Grade U.S. History • 7th Grade Civics • 8th Grade World History • 9th Grade World History • 11th Grade U.S. History • 12th Grade U.S. Government • 12th Grade Economics • High School Personal Finance • High School Psychology Senior staff will receive the recommendations made by the DIMRC. The district-adopted programs will be implemented in the 2024-2025 school year pending School Board approval and adequate funding.

• Date: September 1, 2023 Subject/Course: Group Evaluation Work Location: Miami Springs Middle School Building 11&12 Time: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm

• Date: September 7, 2023 Subject/Course: Final Evaluation Submission Location: Miami Springs Middle School Auditorium Time: 10:00 am-1:00 pm For questions concerning this adoption contact Dr. Leonid Rabinovich, Administrative Director, Department of Instructional Technology, by calling 305 995-3040.
