THE SCHOOL BOARD NOTICE

The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida is considering instructional materials for adoption in the following subject areas for the 2021-2022 school year:

English Language Arts (Grades K-5)

• Language Arts

• Functional Basic Skills in Reading (Intervention) English Language Arts (Grades 6-12)

• M/J Language Arts, Grades 6-8

• M/J Intensive Reading, Grades 6-8

• English, Grades 9-12

• Intensive Reading, Grades 9-12 World Languages (Grades K-5)

• Dual Language Spanish, Extended Foreign Language (EFL)/

Bilingual School Organization (BISO)

• World Language Spanish World Languages (Grades 6-12)

• M/J Spanish for Spanish Speakers

• Spanish for Spanish Speakers, Levels 1-4 Advanced Placement (Grades 9-12)

• AP English Language and Composition

• AP English Literature and Composition

• AP Spanish Language and Culture

• AP Spanish Literature and Culture Access to student editions of the instructional materials will be available online beginning February 18, 2021, via http://im.dadeschools.net/

A School Board Public Hearing to receive comments on the instructional materials recommended for adoption will be held on March 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., in the School Board Administration Building (SBAB) Auditorium, pending Board approval.
