Barnes and Noble sued Retrobrands USA and Jeffrey L. Kaplan Friday in Florida Southern District Court over trademark infringement claims. The court action, brought by Stris & Maher and Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer Baratz, seeks to block the defendants from using or registering the mark ‘B. Dalton Bookseller’ and from cancelling the plaintiff’s ‘B. Dalton’ marks. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 0:22-cv-60915, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. v. Retrobrands USA LLC et al.
