Miami-based real estate investor Mark Keller won summary judgment, and avoided penalties that Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. sought over a multimillion-dollar real estate deal.
Both sides filed competing motions for summary judgment, but Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Alan Fine ruled in Keller’s favor, dismissing MetLife’s case with prejudice and absolving Keller of paying any penalties.
