Linklaters is sending a lawyer to Mexico City as it seeks to better attend clients in Latin America’s second-biggest economy and deepen relationships with leading local law firms in the country.

Managing associate Alberto García Linera, who is licensed to practice law in Spain, will lead the firm’s new Mexico group from a co-work space in the Mexican capital that will also receive support from lawyers from the firm’s other offices, especially from New York, Washington, D.C. and Madrid.
