Construction crews in late July cordoned off the entrances of Winsted Savings Bank with yellow tape to work on the interior of what will become the American Museum of Tort Law.

A site plan application for the tort law museum was approved by the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission in late July, The Register Citizen reported, paving the way for O&G Industries to design and renovate the building, which sits on a nearly one-and-half-acre plot on the town’s Main Street.
