Monique Ryan has joined the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut as staff attorney in the new Norwich expansion of the non-profit legal aid agency. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law and an experienced family law attorney who has practiced at various private firms. She is a returning staff Children’s Law Center staff attorney, having previously worked for the CLC in the Rockville and Putnam courts.

The Children’s Law Center was found in 1993, after a 6-year-old girl was fatally shot by her father during a supervised visitation. The agency has grown over its 20-year history to include court jurisdictions in Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, New Britain, Waterbury, Norwalk/Stamford, Tolland and Windham, in addition to its new location in Norwich.
