Todd E. Garabedian has joined Cantor Colburn as a partner in the Chemical, Material, and Life Sciences Department in the firm’s Hartford office. Garabedian, a Ph.D. biochemist as well as a lawyer, has almost 20 years of extensive experience in patent application preparation, prosecution, counseling, portfolio management, and legal opinions in a wide variety of disciplines related to the biological and chemical sciences. He formerly worked at Wiggin and Dana.
Sally O. Hagerty has been named partner at Ryan Ryan Deluca of Stamford. She has been with the firm since 2008 and focuses on the defense of medical malpractice cases and cases brought against hospitals and assisted-living facilities, as well as the defense of catastrophic personal injury.
Margery Feinzig has joined Wiggin and Dana as a partner in its New York and Stamford offices. She will be a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, including the White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group. Feinzig joins the firm after an 18-year career as a federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York, where she held positions such as senior trial counsel and chief of the White Plains Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Attorney John F. Woyke has joined Brody and Associates, bringing more than 40 years of experience in employee benefit law to the Connecticut employment law firm. Woyke was previously a principal at Towers Perrin, a management consulting firm that specialized in strategic benefits financing. There he counseled nearly all of the Fortune 500 companies on employee benefit issues.
Patricia L. Boye-Williams has joined Murtha Cullina as an associate in the firm’s Hartford office. She is a member of the Environmental Practice Group, and advises clients on a variety of regulatory compliance matters arising under Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act and related state laws. Boye-Williams was previously an assistant attorney general in Connecticut and also practiced at Jenner & Block in Chicago.
Julia P. Boisvert has joined Reid and Riege’s Hartford office as an associate in the Health Care Practice Area. She represents hospitals, physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers and other health care providers on an array of regulatory and general business issues. Prior to joining Reid and Riege, she completed a teaching fellowship with the Legal Rhetoric Program at American University Washington College of Law.
