Stamford-based World Wrestling Entertainment is upset that a newspaper columnist likened some of its wrestling stunts and skits to pornography. The WWE threatened to sue anyone who, according to the company, described the performances in such a manner.

Bristol-based ESPN angered a college basketball coach’s wife with reports that indicated she had a strong suspicion that her husband sexually molested a ballboy. Laurie Fine did, in fact, file a lawsuit against ESPN last month.
