This summer provided a welcome reprieve from a year of isolation as many received the vaccine, businesses opened, and the state released mask and social distancing requirements. Almost as quickly, the Delta variant arrived, causing an increase in positive cases and hospitalizations. The Connecticut Department of Public Health and the CDC recommends that even vaccinated people continue to wear masks inside due to the more contagious variant.

The glimmer of hope for a return to semi-normal existence disappeared and once again, we are faced with the possibility of practicing and learning law in varied modalities, vaccine mandates, and mask requirements. This shift has caused many to battle increased stress and anxiety.
