The Trump administration on Wednesday announced plans to make two appointments to New York federal courts.

Gibson Dunn & Crutcher partner Jennifer Rearden, a Yale University graduate and members of the Connecticut Bar Association, is set to be named to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York; and Brooklyn federal prosecutor Saritha Komatireddy, a former clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he served on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, has been tapped to be named to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
