Zoom has hired Silicon Valley veteran Cheree McAlpine as chief legal officer—filling a post that’s been handled on an interim basis by Aparna Bawa since her promotion from CLO to chief operating officer in 2020.
McAlpine most recently was with the business messaging software company Intercom, serving as general counsel from October 2021 to January 2023. She took that post after serving as legal chief for three years at the LED manufacturer Lumileds.
