The Internal Revenue Service finally has a new chief counsel, former EY principal Marjorie Rollinson, whom the Senate confirmed for the post Thursday on a 56-41 vote.
Rollinson, 62, succeeds William Paul, who has served as acting chief counsel since Michael Desmond, a Donald Trump appointee, resigned in 2021.
