In-house legal leaders are comfortable letting artificial intelligence help with e-discovery and compliance monitoring, but are uneasy using it on internal investigations, according to a report released Wednesday by FTI Consulting and the compliance tech company Relativity.

Eighty percent of in-house attorneys surveyed said they were comfortable with AI-powered e-discovery tools, while 67% said the same about using AI to help with compliance monitoring. Document review and legal research also ranked highly.
