Cerebras, a chipmaker specializing in designing artificial intelligence processors and supercomputer hardware, has hired Shirley Li, the former legal chief at Snapdocs, to head its legal department.

Li was with Snapdocs, a mortgage startup that helps realtors manage the home-buying process in the cloud, for nearly two years, starting as general counsel then becoming chief legal and people officer in late 2022. Before that, she was with software firm Cadence Design systems, where she served in various in-house roles, including senior corporate counsel and associate general counsel focusing on securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance.
