Automotive and media company Cox Enterprises has named its first chief compliance and privacy officer. veteran in-house attorney Amber Hall, who joins from subsidiary Cox Communications, owner of radio and TV stations.

Hall’s title, chief compliance and privacy officer, is new for Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises, a massive, privately held business with more than 50,000 employees and $22 billion in revenue. Its principal businesses are Cox Automotive, which runs used car auctions and related businesses and the media-focused Cox Communications.
