Alcoa has appointed Andrew Hastings to succeed Jeffrey Heeter as executive vice president and general counsel.

Heeter, 57, retired this month after more than 25 years with the Pittsburgh-based maker of aluminum and other building products. He joined Alcoa as associate general counsel in 1998 and rose to general counsel and secretary in 2016. He was Alcoa’s fourth-highest paid executive in 2022, with compensation totaling $2.2 million.
