Although reports indicate that women now account for more than half (50.7%) of the college-educated workforce in the United States, they remain underrepresented in leadership roles across both BigLaw and technology.

According to the latest survey by the National Association of Women Lawyers, analyzing responses from 75 firms in the Am Law 200, women comprise only 22% of all equity partners.  Similarly, women  remain underrepresented across the technology industry, as shown in a recent report by the Women’s Business Collaborative, finding that women comprise only 24% of technology leadership positions of Fortune 500 companies and comprise only 14.2% of the technology leadership positions of private companies with revenue of at least US$1 billion.
