Wendy Webb Williams, a former chief legal officer at Sara Lee Frozen Bakery, has joined the food genomics startup Pairwise as general counsel.
Durham, North Carolina-based Pairwise, which uses gene-editing to develop new varieties of fruits and vegetables, plans to launch its first consumer product in 2023, a goal that CEO Tom Adams said Williams will be instrumental in accomplishing.
