Ikea-owned gig company TaskRabbit has hired a former in-house lawyer for Uber Technologies Inc. and Visa Inc. as the San Francisco-based startup’s general counsel.
Ben Edelhart announced his new job Monday in a LinkedIn post. He succeeds acting GC Marjan Mashhadi, who previously served as director of legal at TaskRabbit, a global online marketplace for freelance handiwork, including furniture assembly.
