Wednesday’s arrest of a litigant on charges of threatening to kill a New Jersey federal judge is the latest reminder of the growing dangers faced by jurists.
Jonathan D. Williams of Newark said in multiple calls to the judge’s chambers Monday that he intended to shoot and kill a federal judge, and he repeated the threat Tuesday on a visit to a Newark law firm.
