Former residents of the doomed Champlain Towers South in Surfside have filed a consolidated amended class action against the condominium association, but according to one South Florida lawyer, it could do more harm than good.
The consolidated lawsuit landed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court on Aug. 16 and claims the association treated “critical structural defects as little more than a financial nuisance.”
