Months after dozens of legal challenges over the election failed to persuade judges across the country, some of the lawyers involved are starting to see consequences.

Rudy Giuliani is suspended from practicing law in New York and Washington, D.C., while authorities investigate his debunked comments about widespread election fraud. Sidney Powell and other attorneys, including Lin Wood, look like they’ll face penalties over a Michigan election lawsuit. And a magistrate judge in Colorado on July 16 held a sanctions hearing for a pair of attorneys who filed a sweeping lawsuit against Facebook, Dominion Voting Systems and officials in swing states over the 2020 election.
