“Most lawyers in top firms are crap at managing.”

This view, offered by a general counsel at a tech firm, seems to be shared by many in the U.K. legal industry. But as the industry prepares for a return to at least partial office working in the coming months, both senior and junior lawyers believe the pandemic lockdown may have inadvertently helped to improve the quality of management on offer.
