A status conference in an employment discrimination case against Tesla provided a peek inside how the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California is preparing to proceed with civil trials.

In a Zoom hearing Tuesday, U.S. District Judge William Orrick III kicked off a discussion on how trials will take place in 2021 by saying, “It’s not a simple story, so let me tell you what the story is.”
