SAN FRANCISCO — Anirma Gupta, former vice president and deputy general counsel at Intuit Inc., has joined Tanium Inc. as the company’s general counsel. She was with Intuit for more than 11 years, working on intellectual property, anti-piracy work and product counseling.
Gupta did not immediately return emails seeking comment. A Tanium spokesperson declined to comment on Gupta’s hire. Based in Emeryville, Tanium sells software for information technology security and management. The private company, founded in 2007, secured $52 million in financing from Andreessen Horowitz in March 2015. The company also obtained $90 million in financing from the same venture capital firm in May 2014.
