OAKLAND — A lawsuit seeking to change the way U.S. children play soccer was all but kicked out of court Wednesday by a federal judge who called the claims “fairly incomprehensible.”

The sprawling, 138-page complaint failed to answer basic questions, such as who the potential class members are, what they are seeking and what power the court has to grant their demands, U.S. District Chief Judge Phyllis Hamilton of the Northern District of California complained.
