Four former prosecutors joined Jones Day in Southern California. Truc Do, a former Los Angeles homicide prosecutor, and Peter Mazza, a former federal prosecutor, have joined the firm’s San Diego office as partner and of counsel, respectively. Rasha Gerges Shields joined its Los Angeles office as a partner after a seven-year stint in the U.S. attorney’s office there, and Cheryl O’Connor, another former assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles, is slated to join Jones Day’s Irvine office next month as a partner.
