SAN FRANCISCO — Google has elected not to ask the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to rehear its dispute with Oracle over Java APIs.
The deadline for seeking a rehearing en banc passed this week without a petition from Google, despite the controversy over the court’s May 9 decision declaring code in application program interfaces is copyrightable.
