SAN FRANCISCO — Federal prosecutors on Tuesday won convictions against a leading manufacturer of TFT-LCD panels, AU Optronics Corp., and two of its top executives after a rare criminal price-fixing trial against a publicly traded company.

After about seven days of deliberations, a jury found the Taiwan company guilty of conspiring with competitors between 2001 and 2006 to fix prices on the thin-film liquid crystal display panels used in computers and TVs. Prosecutors showed executives conducting meetings, called “crystal meetings,” at coffee shops, hotel rooms and karaoke bars.
