SAN FRANCISCO — The “birther” movement that went to court claiming President Obama wasn’t born in the country was dealt its latest blow on Thursday.
A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals held that none of the plaintiffs hoping to challenge Obama’s eligibility to serve as president have standing, and rejected Freedom of Information Act and RICO claims.
