SAN FRANCISCO — Oracle Corp. got no help from the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Tuesday, with the court for the second time saying employees can move forward with a proposed class action seeking overtime pay.

A three-judge panel, following an answer from the California Supreme Court on when out-of-state workers are entitled to overtime for work done for a California employer, reversed the district court, which had granted summary judgment in favor of Oracle.
