Sidley Austin and Simpson Thacher Bartlett, each aiming to continue growing their California corporate practices, have added Paul Hastings office leaders.
Sidley Austin said Monday that it has brought on Peter Burke, a Paul Hastings partner and L.A. office vice chair, in Century City. Also Monday, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett said the firm added David Hernand, an M&A lawyer focused on the media, entertainment and technology industries, as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Hernand was chair of Paul Hastings’ Century City office.
