Keker, Van Nest & Peters announced that the firm elevated former of counsel Edward Bayley to its partnership effective July 1. Keker has also welcomed Sarah Salomon, who returned to the firm, as of counsel, after serving as an impact litigation associate with Braunhagey & Borden. Bayley leverages his experience as a former software developer to represent tech companies in complex intellectual property and patent litigation matters. Since joining Keker in 2012, Bayley has served as a member of several trial teams representing plaintiffs and defendants in high–stakes patent litigation, competitor cases, non–practicing entity assertions, and trade secret misappropriation disputes. Salomon, who was an associate at Keker from 2016-2021 and rejoined the firm earlier this summer, represents clients in high stakes commercial litigation.

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith welcomed Ani Tolmoyan back to its Los Angeles office as a partner in the firm’s consumer warranty, products liability and class action practices. Tolmoyan defends Global 500 clients nationwide in products liability and class actions. Specifically, she has experience representing and strategizing for automotive manufacturers and distributors in warranty and fraud litigation. Tolmoyan has also handled defense work for several major public entities, including the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. She has served as trial counsel in federal and state court. Over the last nine years, Tolmoyan has practiced at medium and large private firms in the greater Los Angeles area, including with Lewis Brisbois’ Los Angeles office between 2016 and 2018. Most recently, she was of counsel with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.
