California’s technology sector has propelled the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California into a hub for antitrust litigation, recent research shows.
Plaintiffs filed 353 antitrust cases in the Northern District, which was the highest number nationally and 11.1% the total proportion of antitrust cases, from 2018 to 2022, according to Lex Machina’s 2023 Antitrust Litigation Report.
