Lawyers at Fenwick & West on Thursday removed a consumer class action against Amazon.com to California Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Reese LLP, contends that the Amazon Prime membership package does not include free use of Audible, the podcast and audiobook service, as advertised. The complaint also contends that Amazon makes it cumbersome for customers to remove the service once they have discovered they are being charged for it. The case is 1:22-cv-03986, Heck v. Amazon.com Inc.
