Walgreens Boots Alliance, a holding company known for its retail chains Walgreens and Duane Reade, and Walmart were slapped with a product liability lawsuit Thursday in California Northern District Court arising from the sale of Walmart-brand acetaminophen. The court case was filed by Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger and Watts Guerra on behalf of Monique Bell, who claims her minor child developed disabilities as a result of prenatal exposure to acetaminophen. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:22-cv-03882, Bell et al v. Walgreens Boots Alliance et al.
