As the California Commission on Judicial Performance considers possible discipline against a judge accused of hiding evidence as a prosecutor, some bench officers have already said the commission’s finding will not affect how they view their colleague.

“I would respect that finding, but I am trained, and it is my job to only focus on the case before me and not opine on something I do not know the facts of,” Orange County Superior Court Judge Cheri Pham, supervising judge of the Central Justice Center felony panel, testified Monday in the disciplinary hearing of Judge Michael Murray.
