Acacia Communications, a subsidiary of Cisco Systems, was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit Wednesday in California Central District Court in connection with its high-speed optical receiver systems. The suit was filed by Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro and Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith on behalf of Core Optical Technologies. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 8:21-cv-01473, Core Optical Technologies, LLC v. Acacia Communications, Inc.
