Paramount Pictures sued Federal Insurance Co. Monday in California Central District Court for claims connected with the filming of the popular Tom Cruise franchise ‘Mission Impossible 7′. The complaint challenges Federal’s denial of coverage for the majority of losses that Paramount claims it suffered as the result of delays and other interruptions amid COVID-19. Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:21-cv-06975, Paramount Pictures Corporation v. Federal Insurance Company.
