Brown Rudnick filed a lawsuit against MindGeek, Pornhub, Feras Antoon, Berg Bergmair, Visa and other defendants in California Central District Court for alleged sex trafficking and distribution of child pornography. The 179-page complaint was filed on behalf of Serena Fleites, featured in a December 2020 New York Times opinion piece on Pornhub, and 33 anonymous plaintiffs. The plaintiffs contend that they were victimized and exploited by the defendants as children. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-04920, Fleites et al v. MindGeek S.a.r.l. et al.
