Dell Technologies was hit with a consumer class action Wednesday in California Northern District Court over its Alienware Area 51M R1 laptop. The suit, brought by Hochfelsen & Kani; and Mahany Law, accuses Dell of falsely claiming that the laptop’s core components are fully upgradeable to future models. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-04187, Felter v. Dell Technologies Inc.
