Jon Eisenberg, the Northern California attorney who accused three Sacramento appellate justices of allowing cases to languish for years, has asked the state Supreme Court to transfer dozens of matters from the Third District to other appellate districts.

In a Feb. 16 letter to the high court, Eisenberg and retired state appellate justice Gary Strankman list 57 cases in the Third District Court of Appeal that have been fully briefed anywhere from 22 months to five years but have yet to be scheduled for oral arguments or submitted for decisions.
