Despite the Trump administration’s June 20 order, suits are still streaming in, mostly filed by states and families, against the federal government’s policy that separates migrant parents from their children.

Litigators from Sidley Austin and Los Angeles-based pro bono outfit Public Counsel filed a complaint Tuesday, intervening on behalf of three refugee mothers forcibly separated from their children after entering the United States through its southern border. The mothers are seeking to reunite with their families and obtain mental health services to address the trauma of separation.
