Semanoff Ormsby Greenberg & Torchia added attorney Jeffrey G. DiAmico to its firm. DiAmico concentrates his practice in business acquisitions, mergers, transactions and business successions, commercial and industrial real estate purchases, sales, leases and tax assessment appeals. In addition, his practice includes business formation, general business planning and counseling, commercial litigation and community association law. He represents local and regional REITS, shopping center owners and various commercial and industrial property owners. He also represents borrowers, guarantors and commercial tenants in defending against confessed judgments. Prior to joining Semanoff Ormsby, DiAmico was a partner at a New Jersey and Pennsylvania-based law firm.

Meghna Reddy joined Gawthrop Greenwood as an associate. A recent graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Reddy worked with the Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic at Villanova, where she represented clients in supplemental security income cases and assisted those with mental impairments in acquiring additional medical assistance.

McNees Wallace & Nurick hired Sarah Dotzel as an associate in the firm’s Harrisburg office. Dotzel is an associate in the litigation practice group. She received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. She spent her summers interning for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland in Baltimore and McNees Wallace.

Strassburger, McKenna, Gutnick & Gefsky added Samantha J. Gagliardo to the firm’s Pittsburgh location. She works primarily in the area of estates and trusts, but she also works closely with the business services, public and nonprofit and business services groups. Gagliardo is a 2017 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Elected and Appointed

High Swartz partner Melissa M. Boyd was named to the board of governors of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is set to serve a three-year term that expires in 2020. A frequent presenter on family law topics for professional associations, Boyd has dedicated her legal career to preserving the rights of children and their families. She is an advocate for her clients in various areas including, but not limited to, divorce, pre-nuptial and post-divorce agreements, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, adoption, protection from abuse and juvenile law. In addition to being a fellow of the AAML, Boyd is a member of the family law sections of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery Bar Association. She serves as the chair of the family law section of the Montgomery Bar Association.
