On Oct. 17, 2017, plaintiff Ruth Corcino-Woodruff, 62, was driving on Old Lincoln Highway in Langhorne. She came to a stop at the intersection with Woodbourne Road. The rear of her sport utility vehicle was subsequently struck by the front of a trailing pickup truck driven by Margaret Miles. Corcino-Woodruff claimed neck injuries.

On Nov. 21, 2017, plaintiff Helen Ogata, 53, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped in the parking lot of a restaurant in Bridgeville. The side of the vehicle was struck by the rear of a reversing vehicle driven by Eleanor Chapple. Ogata claimed neck and back injuries.
