    Wolf Proposes Minimum Wage Hike to $12 an Hour

    Gov. Tom Wolf on Jan. 30 proposed to raise Pennsylvania's minimum wage to $12 per hour, and set the state on a pathway to achieve a $15 hourly minimum wage by 2025.

    Wolf Signs Executive Order to Reduce Carbon Emissions

    Gov. Tom Wolf on Jan. 8 signed Executive Order 2019-01, which is aimed at reducing carbon emissions, a leading contributor to climate change. The order also establishes the GreenGov Council to boost green and sustainable practices in state government.

    Wolf Implements Web-Based 'Clean Slate' Program

    Wolf's first order of business for 2019 was to implement a web-based program to help persons take advantage of Pennsylvania's new “Clean Slate” law. Wolf said he would stress further progress on common-sense criminal justice reforms in his second term, which is set to begin Jan. 15.
