In its first argument session with three newly-elected justices, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is set to revisit a pair of cases it’s handled in recent years and oversee the public censure of a sitting judge.
On Wednesday, the court is set to hear argument in Robinson Township v. Commonwealth on the enforceability and constitutionality of various portions of Act 13. The court’s landmark 2013 decision in a related matter struck down Section 3304 of Act 13, which required local governments to enact uniform zoning ordinances for oil and gas exploration.
